A national memorial created to honor the fallen firefighters of September 11, 2001, will be on auction on eBay until 5 a.m. PDT on May 22. Interested purchasers must be added to a pre-approved bidders list prior to making a bid. eBay Inc. and Young Bae Ku, the founder of Gmarket, Korea’s leading e-commerce company acquired by eBay in 2009, today announced a joint venture agreement to expand Gmarket’s existing online marketplaces in Japan and Singapore.
