eBay launches online classifieds site in the US

eBay has opened a US version of Kijiji, following various overseas openings of the site since February 2005, in direct competition to the well-established market-leading Cragislist.com.
Currently postings on Kijiji are free, as they are on Craigslist. The site covers 220 cities in all 50 states.
