The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) said Thursday it filed two new lawsuits in U.S. District Court, Central District of California alleging sales of pirated software.

The SIIA said the sales were made through the online auction site run by San Jose-based eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY), and involved software pirated from Santa Clara-based McAfee Inc. (NYSE:MFE).

The suit says pirated copies of McAfee Internet Security Suite 2006 Version 8.0 and VirusScan 9.0 were sold by the two named defendants and at least 10 other unidentified individuals.
