Digonex Introduces Dynamic Pricing service for eBay Stores

Published October 16th, 2006

Digonex Technologies Inc. announced a new dynamic-pricing service for eBay Stores. PriceCoaster is an eBay-certified application that allows eBay Store sellers to change prices of listings automatically based on demand for those products.

PriceCoaster uses Digonex’s recently patented dynamic pricing system and integrates with eBay Store Inventory Format items. Prices can be continuously adjusted to the level where maximum sales are derived for any given period of time. The company said the service works best for high volumes of identical items with a definite end date, such as those with an expiration date or seasonal items.

PriceCoaster fees only apply to items that sell. There is a fee of 3 percent of gross sales (it goes up to 4 percent on January 1), plus a transaction fee ranging from 5 cents for items under $2 to 25 cents for items over $10.

Digonex currently markets Nabit, a free auction tracking tool for eBay buyers. PriceCoaster will be available in early November.
