Australian Man extradited on eBay fraud charges

ACT police have extradited a man from Victoria on fraud charges relating to the online auction website eBay.
The 42-year-old Melbourne man will face 17 counts of theft, with police alleging the man sold goods on eBay but never delivered anything.

The investigation was carried out by members of the ACT’s fraud team over a period of 18 months.

Extradition was granted by the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court yesterday and the man will appear in the ACT Magistrates’ Court today.
