Car stereos snatched from parked cars in Cardiff were sold across the UK to unsuspecting eBay customers. Sales were sometimes completed within 48 hours of the local losers finding their vehicles broken into. And in one case, an offer of sale was posted before the car CD player had even been taken.

Dallas Man gets 14-year prison sentence for selling stolen goods on eBay

A man who pleaded guilty to selling stolen goods on eBay was sentenced to more than 14 1/2 years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.
Cory I. Paris, 34, also was ordered to pay $708,699 in restitution during sentencing Tuesday and must forfeit his downtown Dallas loft.

Approximately $4,000 in photography equipment stolen from a Troy University lab has been recovered, and a student has been found to be responsible for the theft.

McAllen Police say they busted two men pulling mirrors off SUVs in the La Plaza Mall parking lot.
Men were offering to buy stolen mirrors, and them selling them online. Officers got the suspect’s EBay username and matched the stolen mirrors to the ones in the auction.
