6 Year Old Artist’s Popularity Growing on eBay

Published March 23rd, 2006

eBay has long been the cornerstone of online auctions, but now it is helping to launch a young artist’s career as well.

Joey, a 6 year old artist, has found selling his art on eBay quite rewarding. His mother, eBayer susie_stuff, has been putting Joey’s original artwork up for auction with some amazing results. The kindergartener has received tremendous support from several auction advertising sites and his fanbase and customers continue to grow.

Much of Joey’s art focuses on his favorite subject, Star Wars. Joey has attracted the attention of Masterful Artist and creator of cartoon strip Acorn Place, K. Douglas MacRae of Skyeproductions.com. The two teamed up in a recent eBay auction (item # 5674643788) selling their renditions of Yoda. Its not just Joey’s art that gains great attention, but the creativity and entertainment value of his auctions, such as the latest featuring Joey and Mr.MacRae in full Jedi stance. The auction junkie community, AuctionGab.net, was the winning high bidder on the auction.

Joey’s fan base and support has landed him a free online gallery to display his masterpieces. The online gallery was provided by online shopping venue, petpretties.com and his work can be viewed at:
