eBay Auction Reunites Son With Deceased Father’s Car

Published March 14th, 2006

QuikDrop International, the leading eBay drop-off store franchise, announced today the remarkable eBay auction reuniting of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro to Anthony McCoy, the original owner’s son, who has been searching for this car that he and his dad restored since his mother was forced to sell upon his father’s death in 1998.
LeRoy McCoy, Anthony’s late father, purchased the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in
1978, the year his son Anthony was born. LeRoy and his son Anthony spent
twenty years loving and painstakingly restoring the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro back
to its original glory. Sadly in 1998 on his way to a car show in Tennessee
LeRoy McCoy suffered a severe heart attack and died. His son Anthony was
supposed to be with his father that day, but was unable to attend the car
show. Upon LeRoy’s death, his wife was forced to sell the 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro to finance her husband’s funeral cost.
